The track suit is composed of two pieces, a bottom and a top.
It started to be used in the 20th century by athletes and it was made of a heavy cotton and/or synthetics fibers.
The pants hemline is on the ankle and its waistband has an elastic band or frilled with a string.
The top usually has long sleeves.
In the 1970s, when exercising became fashionable, the costume was incorporated into women wardrobe.
On the cover of the post we can see a track suit made by Adidas.
